Our Mission
We’re a very small charity hoping to make a very big difference in the lives of the children of Dassa and Abomey in Benin. By giving these kids school supplies and uniforms, paying school fees, and providing additional vocational training, CPAAC-Zou seeks to give those who have so little an enormous opportunity to succeed.

Goal 1:
Send more children to public school.
CPAAC-Zou covers the cost of school fees, uniforms, and school supplies so more children can attend public school. While these things aren’t expensive by European and American standards, the average annual income in Benin is only $1,300 USD or €1,125 Euros — so many families simply can’t afford to send their children to school.
Goal 2:
Give young people vocational skills so they can start earning.
When the kids we assist aren’t attending public school classes, they can attend special four-week training sessions at CPAAC-Zou’s center in Dassa, where they can learn computer skills, welding, tailoring or hair styling, while also taking part in sports and art classes. There is, of course, no charge for those who participate.
Goal 3:
Do our work at no charge thanks to generous donors.
CPAAC-Zou is not a commercial venture. We are a non-profit charity where all facilities, supplies, and instruction is provided at no cost. The only way that’s possible is because of the generosity of donors who support us financially, and instructors who volunteer their time and knowledge to teach our students.
